Easter Card

Hello everyone, today I have a card to share with everyone. I'm trying to get an early start on easter cards this year instead of waiting till the last minute. On this card I used A Child's Year but did alittle bit of snipping and cutting here and there. I used for the rabbits and grass the image found on page 32 but snipped off the girl holding the carrot. And for the girl holding the basket I cut the shift cut and also cut both shadow cuts. The were all cut out at 4" and pop dotted the girl. I took a piece of light pink paper and cut it at 1x2" and used a corner ticket punch on the edges. I also took my Martha Stewarts loop punch and did the corners of the base layer on the card and accented it and also put on the girls braid with SU pearls. I used my My Pink Stamper happy easter stamp for the sentiment. The cardstock that I used for the card was from Echo Park and the pattern paper was just some that I found in my stash.

I also got a chance to play with CCR the other day and tried out the free images that PC gave us for a week from Creative Cards. I don't remeber what size I cut it out at but it did come out a little on the small size but would be great for something like a note card or for a gift bag. The paper that I used came from my stash. Thanks for stoping by and looking and have a great day!

Thank You card using silhouette cameo

Here is a card I did for Karen who was my partner in a valentines swap that I was in on the circle message board. I used my silhouette cameo to make this from a card kit that I found on the silhouette.com. I am really liking this machine, it's so easy to put a card together and cut it out. I used paper that I had and on the flower I put a brad thru the middle and pop dotted the flower part up off the card. The Thank You stamp that I used was one that I had bought from CTMH.
Thanks for stoping by and looking and have a great day!

12x12 scrapbook and paper that matches need new home

Ok ladys (and gentlemen) I tried to post pics of this earlier today on the message board but the pics wouldn't never show up so I'm posting them here for ya'll.
I'm going thru my crafting stuff and anything that I haven't used needs to go bye bye. I bought this at M's a while back and just haven't never used it...I don't scrapbook I make cards and other stuff and not sure what I was thinking when I bought this lol guess the price was right and the paper was just to pretty to leave it there.
All the paper is here it's just loose and the book is in good condition with page protectors in it.
Any one who would like this make me an offer :)
Thanks

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but this season has been crazy.
I just wanted to share my new toy that I got about a week ago....a Silhouette Cameo!!! This is so cool and cuts way better then my E2. I have been having so much fun with it and shoping for all the cute images.
The very first project that I have made with it is a birthday card for my daughter Kelsey...she's turning 9 tomorrow. She loves zebra stripes and cupcakes and her new fav. color combo is black/pink/white.
I found this file on the silhouette online store and got it with some of my $10 credit that I got with the machine. I don't remeber what I cut this out as but I did make it a bit smaller then what it came up on the mat as.
Thanks ya'll for stoping and looking and have a great day. And I'm hoping that I will have more time to post more things and not ignore it like I have been.

Create A Critter 2 contest project

This project was made for the contest for the Create A Critter 2 sneak peek contest.
I used the squiral and the tree icon that went with it. I cut the squirral out at 4" and the tree at 3". The sun is cut from Create a Critter at 1". I cuttlebugged the tree and added a little glitter on the leaves, buckle on the hat and the suns checks. I also added some googly eyes on the squirral and used my black gel pen for the trees eyes and mouth. I used my MS loop punch on the trim along the bottom. Everything is layed out on a 6x6 card.

Thanks for stopping by and visting and have a great day!

Wedding Card

I hope everyone had a relaxing and safe long holiday weekend. This project is for the new Cricut FANatic blog that a fellow cricut cirlce member started up since we have lost our beloved cricut circle blog a month ago. This is my very first time to be a designer for a blog other then my own. I think I'm going to have so much fun coming up with something new every month and getting to see what everyone else comes up with.

Today I have made a card to show ya'll. A good friend of ours just got married over the weekend and this is the card I made for them. For the card base I used my Art Philosophy cartridge and used the card on page 37 and cut it out withh the layers at 5.5". I used Echo Park paper from a 6x6 pad for the top layer and then used a few pieces of a darker red under the top layer for the pop of color to go with the dress. For the bottom layer I used a thin sheet of off white. I also added a couple of dimonds for a little bling.
For the dress I used Tie the Knot and the dress is from page 46 and cut it at 3.75". I used a piece of kinda darker red for the bottom layer of the dress and I also wanted to give this card a pop of color and have always thought that red looks very pretty and eleagnt with black and white. For the top layer of the dress I took a card and cut it in half so it would stand out from the other shade of white that I used for the card base using the devine swirls folder. I added some Martha Stewart pearls along the sash and bottom and cuttlebuged the top layer to give it some texture.
The MR. & MRS. I found also on Tie the Knot on page 62. I cut all layers at 1" and added some Martha Stewert crystal glitter to give it that extra sparkle.
Hope you have a wonderful day and can't wait to be back here this time next month with something new to show ya'll!
