Create A Critter 2 contest project

This project was made for the contest for the Create A Critter 2 sneak peek contest.
I used the squiral and the tree icon that went with it. I cut the squirral out at 4" and the tree at 3". The sun is cut from Create a Critter at 1". I cuttlebugged the tree and added a little glitter on the leaves, buckle on the hat and the suns checks. I also added some googly eyes on the squirral and used my black gel pen for the trees eyes and mouth. I used my MS loop punch on the trim along the bottom. Everything is layed out on a 6x6 card.

Thanks for stopping by and visting and have a great day!

Wedding Card

I hope everyone had a relaxing and safe long holiday weekend. This project is for the new Cricut FANatic blog that a fellow cricut cirlce member started up since we have lost our beloved cricut circle blog a month ago. This is my very first time to be a designer for a blog other then my own. I think I'm going to have so much fun coming up with something new every month and getting to see what everyone else comes up with.

Today I have made a card to show ya'll. A good friend of ours just got married over the weekend and this is the card I made for them. For the card base I used my Art Philosophy cartridge and used the card on page 37 and cut it out withh the layers at 5.5". I used Echo Park paper from a 6x6 pad for the top layer and then used a few pieces of a darker red under the top layer for the pop of color to go with the dress. For the bottom layer I used a thin sheet of off white. I also added a couple of dimonds for a little bling.
For the dress I used Tie the Knot and the dress is from page 46 and cut it at 3.75". I used a piece of kinda darker red for the bottom layer of the dress and I also wanted to give this card a pop of color and have always thought that red looks very pretty and eleagnt with black and white. For the top layer of the dress I took a card and cut it in half so it would stand out from the other shade of white that I used for the card base using the devine swirls folder. I added some Martha Stewart pearls along the sash and bottom and cuttlebuged the top layer to give it some texture.
The MR. & MRS. I found also on Tie the Knot on page 62. I cut all layers at 1" and added some Martha Stewert crystal glitter to give it that extra sparkle.
Hope you have a wonderful day and can't wait to be back here this time next month with something new to show ya'll!

1st birthday card using Out Of Character

A friend of mine's baby girl is fixing to turn 1 so I made this card for her...nice and bright with lots of girly colors.
I cut birthday 1 & girl out at 2.5" and the inside saying I typed out on the computer and printed it on the same purple paper that I used for the front of the card.
I used Echo Park polka dotted paper and then some solid pink/purple/green that I had. I also added some pink rhinestones to give it alittle bling. Then tied some bright green ribbon on one side.
Thanks for looking and have a great day :)

Thank You Card using Out Of Character

This is my entery for the Circle Magazine challenge...you had to use at least 1 full Out of Character Image Cut including layers in your project.
I used the Thank You off of page 60 and cut it at 4.5". I took some Martha Stewart peridot (green) glitter and put it on part of the T and the S. I also put clear rhinestones one each of the corners and then took smaller clear rhinestones on the K. I also pop dotted it up off the card. I used some zebra print paper that I found at Michaels and layered it with black on a pink card.

The weekly challenge on the cricut circle blog was to make a card using a card sketch using at least 2 cricut cuts. I used Cindy Loo for the deer and the tree and Art Philosophy for the banner. I used brown craft and purple cardstock and then used some Echo Park Springtime paper. I cut the deer out at 3" and the tree at 4" and the banner is cut out at 4.5"(I think lol). I used my corner rounder for the top part of the card and added white ribbon at the bottom part of the card.

WILD CARD 2 HAND BOOK

I've taken a picture of all the pages for the Wild Card 2 cartridge since there is no digital handbook for it yet...Hope this helps someone out that would like to get it or just wants to look at it.
I'm sorry if some are a little blurry I took them with my iphone.

NSD CROP: Color Challange

I made this for the NSD CROP Color Challange that they had over on the circle blog. I used Wild Card 2 again (really liking this cartridge). I cute the hot air ballon shaped card out at 4.5" and all of the layers that went with it. I cut the phrase inside out at 1". You were suppost to use black, ornage, a shade of green and then 2 diff. shades of blue.
Thanks for stopping by and looking :)

NSD CROP: Something Old, Something New challange

I made this for a challange over on the cricut circle blog. They have a challange where you can make any project that you would like and have to use 2 cricut cuts, use a new cartridge and an older cartridge.
I used Wild Card 2 for the new cartridge. I cut the card and the layers at 4.5". I used Create A Critter for the older cartridge and I cut Just Chillin' out at 1.5". I also tied a little twin around the trees.
Thanks for stoping by and looking. :)

NSD CROP: Recipe Challenge entry

I made this for the cricut circle NSD challenge where you had to use 3 diff. pattern papers, the color yellow, a butterfly bird or bug, machine pen or hand stiching and at least 3 cricut cuts.
I used the new cricut cartridge that just came out called Wild Card 2. I cut the bee hive card and the layer for it, the bee and all of his layers and the envolope and liner out at 4.5". I cut the BEE HAPPY out at 2". I also put the little bee on a wobbler and added stiching around the hive and his wings. I also used some yellow stickles around his door and used a black gel pen for his eyes and some black enamel accents for his mouth. This is really a super cute cartridge and so easy to put the cards together.

birthday card using Art Philosophy

I made this a few weeks ago for a friend of mine that had a birthday. This is the first card that I made with this cartridge. I cut the flowers out at 1" 1 1/2" and 2". I think the middle of the card was cut out at either 3 1/5" or 4". I used printed cardstock for the layered background (don't know the name of it but thought it looked pretty with this shade of purple). Spritzed a little glimmer mist on the roses and added some pearls.

A Get Well Easel Card For My Aunt

I have been so busy lately and I've noticed that I hadn't posted on my blog in awhile so I figured I would put this card up that I needed to make for my Aunt that is having a tumor removed from her brain in a couple of weeks.
I used kraft paper as the base, a piece of pink DCWV for the layering and then some printed cardstock that I had found at big lots the other day.
I cut the flower pot from Everyday Pop Up cards at 3.5" cuttlebuged the pot and cut Get Well Soon at 1.5" from Cindy Loo. I added a few pearls along the sides and pop dotted the flower and the base at the bottom and added a little twine around the pot to give it that little extra touch.

A card made for a special little girl using Hello Kitty Greetings

There is a lady on the cricut circle message board that has a friend that has a little girl that is very sick and asked if we could all make a card for her to raise her spirts. Her name just happens to be Trinitie (her nick name is Trin...same one I had in school) so I made this card for her cause I was told she was a girlie girl and what girl don't like Hello Kitty lol. I cut hello kitty out at 4" and TRIN out at 1" to fit the ballons and used some echo park paper that I had bought for valentines day and a little glitter and some black & white ribbon, a few pearls and 2 pink dimonds on the bow to give it that extra bling. I hope she likes it cause I kinda like how it turned out :)
